The 2012 Awards are now open for entries. The closing date for entries will be Friday 20th April 2012.
The 2012 IPA Effectiveness Awards are open to any communications agency, media owner or advertiser worldwide. The open competition is not limited to any particular budget size.
This competition is open to any agency, advertiser and media owner who can demonstrate the payback of their marketing communications investment.
An agency is defined as anyone primarily concerned with the provision of branding services to clients, designed to create maintain and enhance the value of their brands through advertising, design, media planning and buying and marketing communications.
An advertiser is defined as an organisation or person on whose behalf an advertisement appears and who ultimately pays the bill. *
A media owner is defined as publishers and contractors supplying media, including press, cinema, TV and radio broadcasting, and posters available for carrying advertising, or more broadly, those offering any channel of communication which can be used for advertising purposes. *
Joint entries are also permissible and indeed encouraged as the IPA Effectiveness Awards reward the quality of effectiveness in the case made rather than subjectively judging the quality of the campaign itself.
